Useful Information for Travel to the Peruvian Amazon
This information is provided specifically for persons or groups traveling to Peru under the auspices of Project Amazonas, or with travel agencies that are taking groups to one of our field stations. While other travelers may find the information useful, we are not a "good Samaritan travel service" to be called on any time a traveler might run into difficulty. That is what your consul general or embassy is for.
Travel requirements can change quickly, particularly during the current covid-19 pandemic. The files provided here are accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the dates given on them. If they are somewhat out of date, please let us know so that we can verify that information is still current and/or make any necessary updates.
